Counselors

Meet our School Counselors, Blanca Vargas & Daisy Lopez!

 

School Counselors provide various resources and support for our students, families and teachers. Among their infinite list of much appreciated work they do at Roosevelt Elementary here are a few highlights of their duties: 

 

1. Individual and group counseling for students

2. Referring families to community resources

3. ELPA testing

4. Teacher support

5. Class presentations on various topics such as Bullying, School Safety, Safe Touch and Gun Safety. For our 4th graders they provide a class on Drugs and Alcohol.
