Meet our New Assistant Principal!
Greeting Roosevelt Families,
I am so excited to join the Roosevelt Elementary school family as the assistant principal for the 2023-2024 school year. As an educator, I value opportunities to build relationships with scholars, parents, and staff members to ensure success for all.
As part of my professional journey, I have been able to serve in various capacities in the education field, including as an assistant principal (two years), Kindergarten teacher (seven years) within the Sunnyside School District and a special needs paraeducator in the Mabton School District.
As Assistant Principal, I plan to let love, kindness, and compassion be my guide in providing a safe and positive learning environment that is inclusive and equitable for all students. I believe "it takes a village" to ensure student success. Therefore, it is my goal to work diligently with our leadership team to leverage partnerships and foster positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers to maximize opportunities for our students to thrive.
I look forward to meeting and working with our Roosevelt Families as we grow throughout the school year.
