Hello! My name is Ann Bohrnsen! I am so lucky to serve the community of Granger as the principal of Roosevelt Elementary!
I have a BA in Reading and Elementary Education. I have a master's in educational leadership from City University of Vancouver, as well. I also have earned professional certificates for teaching, a principal professional certificate, and a programs director certificate.
I began my public school career in Spokane 21 years ago. I ran a before and after school program for Spokane public schools.
I then taught in Woodland Washington for 5 years as a reading specialist and coached their direct instruction programs across multiple buildings.
After getting married, I moved to Tri-Cities, where I worked for North Franklin school district the following 4 years.
In 2011 I was hired as the assistant principal at Roosevelt Elementary!
In 2017 I became principal of this amazing elementary school! Roosevelt rocks!
On a personal note...I have two beautiful boys , I live in the wonderful Granger community, I'm committed to serving our Granger families and the lower valley, I'm passionate about creating opportunities and experiences that allow ALL students to succeed.
